So here is my cel collection. My tastes are rather varied and from many series, so I am putting them all on one page. Please do not take or use these images elsewhere without my permission.

Another one of those amazing finds... This is the original Hanken Mono for Oh My Goddess that was used on a variety of merchandise. I found it at one of the dealer booths at AX 2002. They did not have it out to show or anything. They had a bunch of Captain Tyler Hanken out, so I kept asking if they had any other Hanken and after asking about 4 times and seeing more Tyler Hanken than I could shake a stick at, they pulled this one out as the only other Hanken they had. Needless to say I bought it on the spot. I still have it in the original frame... which is all scratched up from it being in storage for a few years. But the cel itself is in pefect condition.
*Please note this is not a scan of the actual cel, but an image of it I found on the net. If I waited for a scan of the cel, at my current rate of updates it would not be on here for a few more years.

This character is named Ayanami Rei and is from some little ol' series that hardly anyone has heard of, and no one really likes ^_~
Seriously though, this is a practice Hanken Mono done by Takeshi Okazaki, one of the main artist of Evangelion, for the cover of NewType. The cel is absolutely amazing. The lines are razor sharp and the detail is excellent! The cel is standard size and Rei takes up almost all of it.

Alice, from Please Save My Earth. If you have not seen this series, find it and watch it. If you have, then you will probably appreciate how hard it is to find nice cels from the series. I got this one from my PSME Angel, you know who you are... Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
This cel is in perfect condition and is quite big. It is by far my favorite cel, Alice's expression is just so sad and pensive. And before you even ask... no, it is not for sale.

I got this wonderful cel of Tsunami at AX 2001 and could not wait to get it framed, hence the lack of a scan and the picture instead.
If anyone knows which episode this is from I would appreciate knowing...

I absolutely love Black Lady's expression! Even as a single cel it seems to be so animated and alive. She's having one of those really wicked laughs.
Missed this cel the first time it was sold, but the buyer decided to sell about 6 months later... which made me very happy. This cel is presently framed and hanging in my home office.

The background is two layers, with the window being a cutout to the second layer. Turns out the background is not matching, but it is from her home.

Amelia! Another of my "must have a cel of this character" characters... And what a cel at that... it is oversized, with two layers... one of Amelia and one of that other guy ^_~ Since it is oversized it is a bit beat up at the corners and has some scratches at the bottom, but all in all is in good shape. Got this one from Heather at AX. A last minute purchase before leaving. |

Another AX 2001 acquisition... the beautiful Lena from Shamanic Princess... if you have not seen this series you really should. It is one of my favorites... the story is told in a different order from most, which is kind of interesting. And the animation is stunning. |

So now I have both a Petz and a Cooan with rather intense expressions, now if I can get a Beruche and a Karaberas with similar expressions I will frame them all in one big frame. Anyone out there have what I am looking for? |

I saw this one on eBay and just knew that I had to have it. Ryo-ohki is such a cool ship and this is a perfectly centered cel... all I need to do is decide what color I should use for the background... to really make it stand out... |
